I am a self-taught artist, embracing the unique and surrealistic qualities of the natural world, its creatures, and the gifts they give us unexpectedly. I hope to inspire joy and a gentle inspiration. Animals are curious and insightful in ways we are not. Slow down, and they give us hints on how to achieve a better existence through observations.

I like to work with watercolor, ink, color pencil, and acrylic. Experiment with metal repousse, paper cut, and can't wait to discover something new.  My style is always eclectic, surreal, and dreamlike.  

 

Painting for many years, I am also an experienced educator, a veteran’s wife, and mom to three amazing children, one dog, three cats, at least a dozen fish, and a tiny garden.
